It was a good team and I miss them already. I wish our normal work / leisure / ministry lives could create the esprit d'corps produced by a band of brothers and sisters who must depend on each other in an uncomfortable environment while working for a transcendent cause. If we could bottle that, we could sell it in foyers of churches and the world would be the better for it.
The weather in Haiti was unseasonably cool and dry. The transportation and other logistics went flawlessly. The team's health, energy levels and contributions were top notch. The work for the Kingdom seemed to go better than planned.
Mission accomplished.
